This was such a piece of shit anime. The ending felt anticlimactic, rushed, and unfinished. And on top of that, the MC acted like a fucking faggot. He treated the main girl (who he fucking liked all along) like complete shit, and the very minuet she decides to give up on him, he suddenly tells her he love her.

Fuck this shit. I've never seen such fantastic waifu material completely wasted on an such an unforgivable faggot.

We're approaching the finale now. A recap of what's happened so far:

The last fleet battle didn't go so well. We abandoned defense to make a crazy frontal assault on the enemy fleet, and took out a lot of their ships without taking damage to our squad, but the ships in our fleet we were suppose to be guarding took heavy damage.

Our pilot boy, Tomino, managed to take out Blue Char Clone in a one on one duel, and captured his mech. After some downtime and conversation we got our mech upgraded again, and are now heading out to what will likely be the final battle.

I think it's safe to say Tomino is the biggest laughingstock in Japan now. I think it's time to recognize that he had nothing to do with what made Gundam good so long ago.
