Also, Sakura's new altered consciousness struck me as sort of interesting, and worrying. "A lot of me" is pretty similar to how the Festum seem to look at human reproduction, like dividing into more and more individuals. Exactly what they wanted to "fix" too.

Probably not a direct parallel, but still caught my attention.

This is why I can't understand the new relationship chart. I'm not interested in love but for me seems strange that they wrote Kazuki - Soshi (and Soshi-Kazuki) and now they decided to change it to Kazuki - Soshi and Soshi - Maya. I don't know if we'll get another tv series, ova or film later on, but for me now seems that maybe Kazuki will die and they are changing the relationship to something a bit happy for the end (is hard to think something happy in Fafner, but well...)

Where are you getting that idea? I don't recall seeing a whole lot to indicate that. It's easy to see Kazuki as having romantic inclinations toward Soushi, but the idea that Soushi sees Kazuki as anything more than a close friend was always just fan speculation.

Well lets see.
They were there because Saki saved they and because L-Elf told them to. And L-Elf in turn got the idea from ghost Liselotte.
But they were in that situation in the first place because Haruto couldn't fucking speak up and object to ARUS's objections or reason with the frantic students.
So basically Haruto fucked everything up and everyone else had to clean up his mess.

I guess it is sort of /m/. Regardless, it is one of my favorite shows ever. Of course it started to get worse after a certain point, and it was very sporadic with the schedule and all that, but in it's prime it was a such a clever, funny show. The only other US animated series I like nearly as much is Venture Brothers, though that isn't /m/ at all, really.

Archer is extremely mediocre in my opinion. No lasting power. It was funny the first season, though.

Haven't seen Rick and Morty. It looks terrible, but I know a lot of people really like it, and an equal amount of people hate that some people like it. I am really not one for /co/ stuff. Futurama and Venture Bros are special cases.

And what broke C.Granzeboma's drill? GURREN LAGANN.

All those iterations of Gurren Lagann only existed to make him bigger. Gurren Lagann alone is and was the most powerful mech in that show. Its all of Simon's spiral power in its most concentrated form with an actual body (Lagann cant really fight if he isnt being thrown.)

I also think Shin Getter would be Getter Emperor. I realize Emperor is the evolved form of Shin Getter, but I really think that.

I just realized after rewatching the first episode of TTGL that the alternate timeline in the beginning (the one where alter-Simon says "all the stars are enemies") is basically the Gurren brigade going Getter on the rest of the universe.
