New Tomino fan here. I've been wondering, are Tomino's other shows as deep as G-Reco? By that I mean, do they all have the same subtle sort of dialogue that, to the untrained eye, seems completely random, but actually reveals itself to be quite clever after a bit of thought? Stuff like how "The world isn't square" has a double meaning to it, expressing the existence of differing philosophies while simultaneously making an observation about the immediate conflict at hand, or how Raraiya throwing an apple represents the difference in values between the two cultures. Just for a couple examples. I really like that about G-Reco, and am hoping I can look forward to more of the same when I watch Tomino's other works. Pic hopefully related.
