Somehow the Zeta movies manage to be even more nonsensical and incoherent than the series. I have trouble keeping track of what's going on amid all the abrupt transitions, and I've seen the fucking show. Can't imagine what the movies must be like for newcomers, who were ostensibly the intended audience in 2005-2006.

You would think that given 20 years to reflect on his work Toimino would have figured out ways to improve things, or if nothing else the limited run-time would force him to cut out some of the dumber bullshit. But nope.

Do like the new animation though. Glad they kept the 80's style combined with modern clean animation theme for Unicorn.
