Oh, and as for the Artificial Sun, the only hard part of that stage was not having Rubina die at the beginning, and even then its easy if you know to kill a specific boss.
Also, the Artificial sun's attack is weak shit.

Or, rather, it has the same upgrade inheritance as Alpha 1 and Gaiden and the older games past, like, 3. Units that TURN INTO something else (Kaikink into Gaiking, Stinger into Superior Stinger, G Gunner into G Zero) get to keep their upgrades. Units that are their own thing (Mazinkaiser to Mazinger Z) do not.

(I also have MP Great, Grendizer, and Aphrodite A's Impact stuff ready. Spoiler alert - MP Great is Great without three attacks and the combos, Grendizer is absolutely fucking amazing - aside from Master Asia I think he's the best potential I've seen - and Aphrodite is a weaker Venus)
