I simply find it unfortunate that the Tale that enveloped the worldview and ideas on war presented in First Gundam ceased to function as anything more than device for the mobile suit fantasy.

I just love how the villains don't send their MOTW to the same city every time like the other robot shows. Every episode is set in a different country or city and Gaiking crew have to travel the world to intercept, making the plot a bit fresh and villains aren't dull and stupid to attack the places near the super robot. Gaiking is really an underrated show
