For those new to gunpla/plamo or even just new to this thread; please read the guide. Please read it before asking questions, as there is a chance it has already been answered there.

For those unfamiliar, "plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model". If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here!

Try being specific, especially about your materials and process. Post images whenever possible; even if the kit/part looks bad, you are more likely to get help posting images.

>Why are my pictures sideways?
4chan strips EXIF data from images when they're uploaded to the website from your phone, including the orientation display tag. To solve this, save your images out separately, or use an app that will rotate and save the image itself for you.

What should I get next senpai?!

A lot of older mecha and toku have been getting subbed in their entirety recently and I'm starting to think this is why the board is so divided on everything. As far back as 2013 /m/ pretty much had a dead set of defined "classics" that went very much unchallenged outside of the typical shitpost responses. For example, Tetsujin 28 2004 used to be pretty unchallenged, but now the 1980 version has been subbed and there are people that claim that's better. Gundam 1979 and Getter Robo used to be pretty unchallenged as the board's favorite 70s anime, but now it has competition since the original Mazinger Z is no longer in crabstick hell thanks to Discotek, Gaiking got translated, and Jeeg got finished. Xabungle used to be considered the best mecha of the early 80s, now we have championing of Acrobunch for that title. Kamen Rider recs used to be just Heisei stuff with Black and V3 mentioned, but now everything is subbed and there's the usual showa vs. heisei divide. Super Sentai recs are similar since Turboranger is now the only entry not to be fully subbed. Ultra recs were just the original series, Seven, Tiga, Nexus, and Mebius; now though everything is getting licensed by Mill Creek.

tldr The more anime and toku that are now available for viewing the more divisive and less consensus we have on, well, any agreements on what is good and what is bad.
