Why was this thread deleted? It was full of actual show-related conversation, which is what this board is supposed to be about, right?

Is it because the OP contains a negative opinion, in which case can we have an explanation of why a negative opinion is less acceptable than a positive opinion? Is it because some people can't stand seeing G-Reco discussed positively, so they try to ruin threads about it and then spam reports with the aim of getting them deleted? Are the mods actually enabling that behavior?

I thought the moderation policy of 4chan was don't delete threads if they aren't harming anyone, so what was the point in deleting this? /m/ is a slow board with a dedicated community, we don't need inexperienced janitors who may not even be familiar with the topic to decide what we can talk about, the board runs fine without oversight.

It's especially weird that a thread genuinely discussing mecha shows gets deleted while the "Haman has a huge ass" thread has been untouched. What is the logic here?
