>>17013068>Probably enough where trying to shoot them down with Machine Cannons is a waste of timeArguable. Constant hits are enough to have an impact on battery powered PS MS and the Dragoons batteries have to maintain weapons, thrusters, and the PS armor on a considerably smaller build. It's hard to believe the Dragoons handling that strain when the Strike and Impulse where shown to regularly suffer from it.
>Could be any number of reasons for why other Sabers aren't effective under waterTo my knowledge the only ways beams weapons have ever been effective underwater is through sufficient brute force or silly gimmicks like spraying bubbles down the beam path.
>Not really saying much so far...Nataku is carrying a weapon running on an output that would make the standard beam weapon melt. Seed has never shown any armor materials outside of the electrically charged PS armor that could handle outputs anywhere near those levels. Moreover Seed MS armor without PS shows durability comparable to MS constructed from Titanium, which would put it considerably below the limits of Gundanium.
>He definitely damaged the armor with just the one slash to the chestThe only real damage was to the orb sitting in the center of the chest. There's some slight deformity from the parts of the frame that house the orb but it's comparatively minimal when a beam hit should be cleanly slicing through. I did miss the Dragon Fang taking a chunk of the shoulder armor off. It's been a while since I last watched EW.
>That's pretty importantMaybe against people who aren't stupidly sturdy like Heero but the guy has brushed off having his MS beaten like a drum and that's still tame for Mr. "Keeps surviving his suicide attempts since Ep. 1".
>and beam sabers can damage the Wing ZeroWhen shown to have higher outputs than standard materials across settings can withstand.
>and it's not that hardSure, for Kira's biggest guns maybe, but doubtful for the beam sabers.
