First off I'll translate the black heading:

There is a bizarre hierarchy in the middle of the mysterious secret society Big Fire, an organisation that aims for world conquest. It consists of the Jukkeshu, which is divided into class A agents, class B agents, and class C operatives, the ranking system is based on the ability and achievements. Furthermore, Strategist Koumei and Dr. Black* have been given the same status as the Magnificent Ten.

*Dr. Black is Dr. BigFire from Tetsujin 28. You can actually see Dr. Black in ep6's prologue. Apparently Imagawa wanted him to appear alongside the Mag10 in ep6/7 but due to time constraints couldn't.

*= Kosanjo is based off Hu Sanniang from Water Margin. I'm not sure if this is from a GR book or a random magazine because Imagawa never outright stated Sally's mother. To clarify, when he screened episode 7 at a convention there was a Q+A and someone asked for the identity of Sunny's mother. He supposedly laughed really loudly and said that it was a female character from the Water Margin and left it at that before stating this characters GR incarnation would've been a renowned magician who wasn't part of BF or the IPO and was dead prior to the series' start. Everyone assumed it was Kosanjo, because she had similar hair to Sunny and Alberto and had a magical whip. I'm doubting this article's credibility as it says Zangetsu has elemental powers as no other GR book/source says this but since both Kosanjo and elemental Zangetsu has been accepted by the fandom with the amount of fan works and discussion in Japan. I'm going to guess that they're both true in the end of the day. Sorry for the rambling, just felt I should point it out.

I think Raideen, coincidentally another Tomino directed show where a mythical warrior robot from a lost civilisation is excavated and piloted by (a) youth(s), implies it has some sort of cosmic consciousness early on, in how it mentally reaches out to Akira and calls him to itself, and then Akira's basically just coordinating with Raideen so they can fight collaboratively
