>>90296429>You could have easily repelled the normalfag invasion. Critical Roll could have been memed into oblivionThe people on 4chan are quite frankly not the audience for critical role I would imagine. When some random geek and sundry show exploded in popularity I dont think it was because everyone on our niche little site started binge watching it. Its a normie show that appeals to normies.
>We could have had a successful gamergate tier movement to protect /tg/ hobbies.>gamergate>in the year of our lord 2023Also, and I hate to be the bearer of bad news, gamergate failed in the long term. Video game journalism remains a cesspit and the gaming industry is among the worst in almost every aspect.
>That could have been us, defeating the normoniggers invasionThe normalfags outnumber you and dont need you to play with them. You cant gatekeep what you dont have a monopoly on. DnD isnt so inaccessible people need your help to learn it (and where it is, guess what, people just make an easier more simplified DnD). You can keep someone from playing with you, you cant stop them playing with other like minded people without you, you simply have no control of the situation.
At best you could attempt to compete with those new ideas in terms of mass appeal, to try and convince everyone that your specific version of DnD/PnP in general is better and they should play it, which would itself mean compromise and change and not be what you want.
