The Principality of Zeon, based in the colonies of Side 3, declares a war of independence against the Earth Federations forces. In a vicious blitz against the colonies, billions of lives are lost in their destruction, along with Zeon's Operation British eliminating countless lives on the Earth. To counter this brutality from Zeon, the Earth Federation amass themselves at Side 5 colony cluster to intercept Zeons navy before it can capture yet another colony for its plans.

The Battle of Loum ends in disaster for the Federation, as Zeon utilizies its devestating secret weapons against the Earth Forces navy, Mobile Suit. From this battle, the Federations forces are driven to the brink of surrender, while many new heroes are found by the Zeon people, Including the Black Tri Stars, Johnny Ridden "The Crimson Lightning", Ramba Ral "The Blue Nova", and its most famous ace pilot from the battle, Velvut Kurtain "The Golden Flare". Despite this catastrophic loss however, General Revil successfully rallies the tattered Federation to continue its struggle against the tyrannical forces of Zeon. In its refusal to surrender, Zeon begins its invasion of the Earth, overtaking North America, Africa, Europe and Asia in a matter of weeks.

With its armies demoralized and Zeons blitz on the Earth only continuing to worsen for the Federation, many have begun to lose hope. However through the combined actions of a band of Scientist efforts to develop Mobile Suits and a task force led by the assending Federation Commander and survivor of the Loum conflict, Eduard Mass, the Federation prepares to strike back against the menace of Zeon.

What do you anons think about Albegas? I started watching it since nobody seems to know much about it. It was supposed to be another Voltron adaption (and for some reason gladiator themed?) but that got scrapped. Just watched the first episode, it is similar to God Sigma but the focus seems more on infrastructure rather than space travel and the pilots are middle schoolers rather than adults. Gotta like how they blatantly rip off Boss Borot.

So what are the odds that this show is getting a season 2? What are your expectations of it if we do get one? It feels like there isn't enough time to tie up all the plot points they laid out.

Any of you anons watch Blocker Corps IV Machine Blaster? It's one of the lesser known 70s super robot titles and it tries very hard to rip off both Mazinger series.
