AJ and RD say the same thing at the same time and Pinkie pie is left to high-five herself.
It takes 26 seconds for granny to read a question and pinkie to answer it very very wrongly, extremely wrongly, wrongly in a way that indicates she doesn't understand what trivia is, while all the other ponies stare in uncomprehending silence. It's not that big a deal, yet, but what part of that are we supposed to enjoy? It's not exactly out of character for her to think that way, but answering that way is, at best, confusing.

Pinkie has been convinced to sit still, but we have to hear her chanting "sitting stiiiiilll sitting stiiiiilll" as a result. Granny reads another question, and I begin to suspect that granny reading questions actually IS supposed to be the enjoyable part of this experience when she says "gorge?" in the show-man-y way she does.
Twilight snaps at pinkie for being legit annoying, and misses a question to maud as a result.
We simply look at the scores instead of explicitly talking about far behind we are, which is something that deserves praise in the context of this episode.
The apple question happens next. It's ok. Granny is, again, being actually the best character simply by being doubtful of the situation. "you kiddin me?"
Rainbow is being annoying. That's what she's doing.
Pinkie is totally unable to focus for 1 second and her mind and body both turn to food like she's a dog. That would be almost ok if, but then "the stomach thing" happens. What happens here is that twilight desperatly tries to give pinkie the oppurunity to participate in the game, and pinkie is actually just plain not interested at the moment and would rather think about eating.
Bulk bisept fucking knocks fluttershy on her ass in excitement. That makes him and granny the best characters so far.
