This thread is dedicated to the months that led up to the premiere of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and all the little bits of gossip and snippets of information about the new show that emerged during that time period. Before the G4 fandom could even be conceived of, there were MLP fans who eagerly snatched up any pony news floating out in the ether. I researched as thoroughly as my enthusiasm and Google-fu allowed, and I want to share my findings with you. These findings exist on the backs of others whose passion for pony made them archive and save all they could, making it possible for us to see it today.

Like if I need to study, I'd get into what I call "Twilight mode" or simply "twimode/twimoding" and I'll have a better time reading/focusing. It feels like I've been imbued with Twilight's powers and personality. Or for example, if someone's being mean to me or if I need someone to do something, I'll go "Fluttershy mode" and ask them politely and to stop/ I'll be friendly with them and most of the time it goes well for me. It sounds cringe but it really works. It worked for me when I had to ask my roommate to keep quiet while I was writing something. I asked him politely and explained my situation to him and he relented. I've gotten so good at it that I barely have to say "Fluttershy mode!" out loud anymore whenever I want to get into "the zone".
