Everyone get hyped about four job fiesta Are you ready to get White Mage and cry for the first 5 hours? I am.

>>1682932 I have done a four job run once (Ninja, Bard, Summoner, Monk) and it was a lot of fun only having that regen song for healing, and potions. Had to retry a lot of bosses until I got lucky crits with monk tho, don't even know how i managed to kill neo exdeath.
I'd do the fiesta but i dont have a twitter and too lazy to create one

Both IV and V are kind of stinks especially with super-ultra railroaded experience thanks to worldmap design. Even dungeons are kind of straightforward instead of looped map

Cecil was awful. He started out as a mopey, boring loser whose excuse for sucking was "b-but i'm only a black night," And then a short ways into the game he becomes a paladin which also apparently effectively removed any and all character that he had beyond him standing off to the side and saying "(character name)..." every now and then when something bad happens.

>>1685727 Glad you were able to stay objective, I'm not a fan of his style either but once you remove that from the equation he's still undeniably an amazing character designer. His work does kinda benefit from having a second pair of hands to cut back on the same-face.

>>1203802 >Plays like PM and looks to be a bit more involved It is very short. But has an absurd amount of side stories, secret paths and things which change depending on your decisions and skills.
Also, there is a plot and what happens each week is, more or less, predefined.

The beginning of a translation for PM1 Refine edition exists somewhere, but since few people have the Refine edition it wasn't passed around very much. There's a menu patch for pm4 which translates skill and location graphics so that the rest of the game can be played with a text hooker. A translation for pm5 is supposed to be out this year sometime, we hope.

Use disk 3 of the Spanish translation instead. Some text will be in Spanish but the game will not break.

You guys acting overly defensive of a videogame character aren't doing any favors for the image of the fanbase. But yeah, in a sense both Mario and Sonic are outdated, it's just that one franchise is associated with the furry fandom and a couple terrible games and the other is associated with hipsters and rehashes.

I believe most /vr/ users would agree that Star Fox is the single most visually impressive game on the SNES library. However, which game is the most visually impressive game for the Mega Drive/Genesis? From the few games I've played, I'd say Sonic 3D Blast was the most visually stunning one, though I might be misinformed. Visually impressive games from the 16 bits era thread.

Anonymous
>>1640360 This. Star Fox was very impressive from a technical standpoint, but has not aged well. In fact, I'd dare say that Hyperzone— another forward-scrolling game for the Super Nintendo holds up much better, despite its lack of SuperFX chip.
It has better music, too.
Anonymous
Quoted By:
>>1645602 >It has better music, too. Let's not go there. And Hyper Zone has pretty crap gameplay compared to Star Fox.
Anonymous
Quoted By:
>>1645602 What? HyperZone is dull as hell.
Star Fox is significantly better because it's much more mechanically complex, it has a pretty large variety of enemies and hazards, and the level design and bosses are exceptional.
Both games have great soundtracks that perfectly suit the action on screen.
