Either way for me as an individual things worked out in my favour. So be it. Professional friends I have are not all the same. Some have wives who are extremely short and a few of my close friends are taller than their husbands. Its the social chemistry and working in similar fields that has kept them together.
Most of these women that are so highly superficial I suspect lack in other departments. They can't pave their own way so need to find a 'rich' manlet to foot their bills.
My wife is in a different career path but also highly qualified I love this woman to death. 10/10 in my eyes perhaps a lot lower on /fit/ barometer.
As society is progressing I think height is irrelevant and greater emphasis should be placed on intelligence. Which is how our society rewards most individuals Education -> Higher paying job -> Buy what you want including women.
