Here we have the good fortune of being able to use 1080 poison baits quite liberally in conjunction with occasional shooting and trapping for culling Red Fox and feral cats.
But since you guys can't use 1080, what combinations of methods do you use?
Are they actually working or is the problem getting worse?

Anyone know what your bare-bones Mini-14 is going for about now? Ruger's MSRP is about the $900 area but I didn't know if this was indicative of actual gun-store or show pricing.

In general, my dad's been looking for a semi-auto rifle in intermediate to small caliber to go target shooting and possibly varmint shooting if he'd ever feel like it. His fallback is the 10/22 but he often asks about other options like the Mini-14/30 series and things like my SKS. Are there any other rifles out there for a decent price point that fit criteria like that?

37mm. lately i find myself researching and fascinated with 37mm launchers. what's your thoughts on such a setup? i know you have to register them as a DD for AP purposes.

Technically they're not considered a firearm so if someone wanted to they could launch all the flares you want in city limits, no? or dummy rounds in their backyard?
