ITT: underrated firearms

No.61125789 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Firearms that were/are good but didn't achieve success.
I start with the Walther MPL.
Reportedly shooting as good as the MP5 but with direct blowback and much cheaper. The MP5 won tho.

The last shotgun

So, hypothetically, if you wanted to buy one shotgun that was good enough for the rest of your life (aka never have to buy again), which one would you pick?

Grumpys Guns is Gone, what next?

No.63786395 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
So I have this ruger standard mk II with a 6 inch tapered barrel. I'm trying to find someone that can thread the barrel and move the front back a little bit, and do just as good a job of grumpy.
Who can do this? Just have a standard 6 inch taper, not a target taper. So I don't think JP's grips will do that.

1911 greatness thread

Boomers were right. It really is the best pistol ever made. Blows my fucking mind that something so ergonomic and user friendly was developed in 1911. Especially when you compare the pistol to competitors of the day.
