NEET vs Wageslaves // sabbaticals // living with parents temporarily // vacations

No.46199237 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
My parents, who combined make over 6 figures and own 2 houses, offered to let me NEET it up for a little bit so I can finally acquire useful (I mean employable) skills & focus on my health.

>be me (25yo wageslave) and hating every moment of it
>after high school (graduated top of class & got scholarships) immediately go to some goofy program at the top state uni
>fuck up 1st year at uni and be in a constant upward battle to get adequate grades
>by 3rd year, my good grades offset 1st year so I could switch into desired major
>get internship making websites @ 21yo, keep job after graduating [4 years employed at 5yo company]
>still make only 1/2 the median income for web developers even though I pay $0 income tax and get 0 benefits
>town is 1/4 black, 1/4 white trash so it's $1000 a month to live in an apartment outside of a ghetto/opiate-den
>massive competition driving down wages because of the normie uni students with rich parents just trying to get work experience

Sounds like a great idea guys. I know the wageslave shills will respond in anger and hostility that I could dare choose to save $1000/mo just by NEETing for a bit and developing myself. Plus I could just go back and work there if I wanted I'm sure.

It's basically a non-paid sabbatical but my parents are like upper middle class so me being there to productively NEET for the first time in my life will be AMAZING. Whenever they offered to buy me anything in the past (clothes usually) I just always said "don't waste your money"

Any tips from fellow *ENLIGHTENED* neets? besides gym and learning more programming languages? I'm thinking Java, VB.net, C++ or C#, & python
