>>10122680The problem with the U.S. ending is that it presumes you went through the natural story progression. MOTHER is very nonlinear compares to the later games. Did you know you can finish the game with Ninten and Lloyd (hell, just Ninten if you're crafty enough), and completely miss Ana and Teddy? Now, if the ending changed a bit depending on how you played, that'd be pretty cool, but I guess that'd have been something to address had it not been a proto.
